*CLOSED* Robyn's Sweet Cheeks {Review & Giveaway}

When I decided to switch Mister Man to cloth diapers, I was set on pockets.  Pockets with velcro (for convenience) and nothing else, but I remained open to trying different diapers & systems (and still am!).  The first non-pocket diaper I tried was from Robyn's Sweet Cheeks Cloth Diapers.

I met Robyn during a "live" giveaway on another blog.  Unlimited comments (entries) got several moms into a conversation and the giveaway became more of a mommy forum.  During the course of the giveaway (24 hours I think) most of the conversation was about cloth diapers and when I mentioned I was just starting out and was up for doing reviews, Robyn kindly offered one of her sets as a review to me.

The set I received was a diaper cover and matching shirt.  Now, remember, I was skeptical about anything other than pockets, but immediately the cuteness of the set began to win me over.  I didn't have (and still don't) have any fitted diapers to use with it, but I had a single prefold.  Instead of using pins I simply trifolded the diaper and laid it in the cover.  I was shocked when after almost 3 hours (I was testing remember) and the prefold being absolutely soaked, the cover hadn't leaked at all!  I have even put it over a pocket diaper a few times just because it's so cute!

I have used Robyn's cover a ton and it has never leaked!  That is an accomplishment with Mister Man.  He even leaks through his BumGenius occasionally.  It's so easy to clean too.  If it gets messy it can just be wiped out and then thrown in with the other diaper laundry.  The legs and waist fit very snugly but don't leave red marks from being too tight.

Just a basic lesson for those not familiar with cloth diapering: a cover is a water proof shell that can be used over a prefold diaper (old fashioned kind), a fitted diaper (looks like a pocket diaper but isn't waterproof), or even over a pocket or All-in-One just to add to the cute factor.  I'm sure I forgot a use or two for a cover, but again, I have limited diaper experience.
